F or they were in three stories, but did not have pillars as the pillars of the court; therefore the upper chambers were set back more than the lower and the middle ones from the ground.

فَكانَ المَبنَى ذا ثَلاثَةِ طَوابِقٍ، وَلَكِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ أعمِدَةٌ كَالأبنِيَةِ الأُخرَى فِي السّاحَةِ. فَكُلَّما ارتَفَعَ البِناءُ طابِقاً، كانَتِ الحُجُراتُ تَضِيقُ بِسَبَبِ المَمَرّاتِ.
