T herefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God: Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the desolate wastes and the cities that are forsaken, that have become a prey and derision to the rest of the nations that are round about;

de aceea, munţi ai lui Israel, ascultaţi Cuvîntul Domnului Dumnezeu! Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu munţilor şi dealurilor, rîurilor şi văilor, dărîmăturilor pustii şi cetăţilor părăsite, cari au ajuns de prada şi de rîsul celorlalte neamuri din prejur;
