T herefore thus says the Lord God: I will also stretch out My hand against Edom and will cut off and root out man and beast from it, and I will make it desolate; from Teman even to Dedan they shall fall by the sword.

لِهَذا يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ: ‹سَأُعاقِبُ أدُومَ، سَأقضِي عَلَى النّاسِ وَالحَيَواناتِ فِيها، وَأُحَوِّلُها إلَى صَحراءَ جافَّةٍ فارِغَةٍ. سَيَمُوتُ النّاسُ بِالسَّيفِ مِنْ تَيْمانَ وَحَتَّى دَدانَ.
