A nd she bestowed her harlotries upon them, the choicest men of Assyria all of them; and on whomever she doted, with all their idols she defiled herself.

Ea s-a dedat la desfrânări cu ei, cu toţi fiii aleşi ai Asiriei, şi s-a pângărit cu toţi idolii fiecăruia din cei pe care i-a poftit.
