F or when I had brought them into the land which I lifted up My hand and swore to give to them, then they saw every high hill and every dark and leafy tree, and they offered there their sacrifices and there they presented their offering that provoked My anger and sadness; there also they made their sweet-smelling savor and poured out there their drink offerings.

коли Я ввів їх до Краю, що про нього, прирікаючи, підносив Я Свою руку дати його їм, то коли вони бачили всякий високий пагірок і всяке густе дерево, то приносили там свої жертви, і давали там свої дари, що гнівили Мене, і складали там свої любі пахощі, і приносили там свої литі жертви.
