O ver the head of the living creature there was the likeness of a firmament, looking like the terrible and awesome crystal or ice stretched across the expanse of sky over their heads.

And a likeness over the heads of the living creatures of an expanse, as the colour of the fearful ice, stretched out over their heads from above.
