W hy do we sit still? Assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fortified cities and be silent or perish there! For the Lord our God has decreed our ruin and given us bitter and poisonous water to drink, because we have sinned against the Lord.

– Что же мы сидим? Собирайтесь! Побежим в укрепленные города; там и погибнем! Господь, наш Бог, обрек нас на погибель и поит нас водой отравленной, потому что мы согрешили против Него.
