C oncerning the pillars, the height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits (twenty-seven feet), and an ornamental molding of twelve cubits (eighteen feet) went around its circumference; it was four fingers thick, and it was hollow.

L’altezza di una di queste colonne era di diciotto cubiti, e a misurarla in giro ci voleva un filo di dodici cubiti; aveva uno spessore di quattro dita ed era vuota.
