F rom the cry of Heshbon even to Elealeh even to Jahaz have they uttered their voice, from Zoar even to Horonaim and Eglath-shelishiyah, for even the waters of Nimrim have become desolations.

Strigătele Hesbonului răsună pînă la Eleale, şi glasul lor se aude pînă la Iahaţ, dela Ţoar pînă la Horonaim, pînă la Eglat-Şelişia; căci şi apele Nimrimului sînt prefăcute în pustiu.
