C ome down from your glory, you inhabitant of the Daughter of Dibon, and sit on the ground among the thirsty! For the destroyer of Moab is advancing against you; he will destroy your strongholds.

Pogoară-te din locaşul slavei, şezi jos pe pămîntul uscat, locuitoare, fiica Dibonului! Căci pustiitorul Moabului se suie împotriva ta, şi-ţi nimiceşte cetăţuile.
