C oncerning and against Egypt: against the army of Pharaoh Necho king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates at Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote and defeated in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah:

Riguardo all’Egitto. Circa l’esercito del faraone Neco, re d’Egitto, che era presso il fiume Eufrate a Carchemis, e che Nabucodonosor, re di Babilonia, sconfisse il quarto anno di Ioiachim, figlio di Giosia, re di Giuda.
