T he Lord could no longer endure the evil of your doings and the abominations which you have committed; because of them therefore has your land become a desolation and an waste and a curse, without inhabitants, as it is this day.

Domnul n'a putut să mai sufere lucrul acesta, din pricina răutăţii faptelor voastre, din pricina urîciunilor pe cari le-aţi săvîrşit; şi de aceea ţara voastră a ajuns o paragină, un pustiu, o pricină de blestem, cum vedeţi astăzi.
