T herefore the princes said to the king, We beseech you, let this man be put to death; for thus he weakens the hands of the soldiers who remain in this city and the hands of all the people by speaking such words to them. For this man is not seeking the welfare of these people, but harm.

Entonces dijeron los oficiales al rey: “Den muerte ahora a este hombre, porque él desanima a los hombres de guerra que quedan en esta ciudad y a todo el pueblo diciéndoles tales palabras. Este hombre no busca el bien de este pueblo, sino el mal.”
