T hen you shall say to them, I was presenting to the king my humble plea that he would not send me back to Jonathan’s house to die there.

فَحِينَئِذٍ، قُلْ لَهُمْ: ‹كُنتُ أتَرَجَّى المَلِكَ بِأنْ لا يُرجِعَنِي إلَى بَيتِ يُوناثانَ لأمُوتَ هُناكَ.›»
