T hen said Jeremiah, It is false! I am not deserting to the Chaldeans. But the sentry would not listen to him. So Irijah took Jeremiah and brought him to the princes.

Pero Jeremías dijo: “¡No es verdad! No voy a pasarme a los Caldeos.” Sin embargo él no le hizo caso. Apresó, pues, a Jeremías y lo llevó a los oficiales.
