A nd I saw, even though that for this very cause of committing adultery (idolatry) I had put faithless Israel away and given her a bill of divorce; yet her faithless and treacherous sister Judah was not afraid, but she also went and played the harlot.

Când am văzut toate lucrurile prin care răzvrătita Israel se prostitua, am izgonit-o şi i-am dat cartea ei de despărţire. Totuşi sora ei, necredincioasa Iuda, nu s-a temut, ci s-a dus ea însăşi să se prostitueze la fel.
