T herefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with wormwood and make them drink the water of gall, for from the prophets of Jerusalem profaneness and ungodliness have gone forth into all the land.

Perciò cosí dice l'Eterno degli eserciti riguardo ai profeti: «Ecco io li nutrirò di assenzio e farò loro bere acqua avvelenata, perché dai profeti di Gerusalemme l'empietà si è sparsa per tutto il paese».
