t he priests did not say, Where is the Lord? And those who handle the law knew Me not. The rulers and secular shepherds also transgressed against Me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal and followed after things that do not profit.

Os sacerdotes não perguntavam pelo Senhor; os intérpretes da lei não me conheciam, e os líderes do povo se rebelaram contra mim. Os profetas profetizavam em nome de Baal, seguindo deuses inúteis.
