A nd though a tenth remain in the land, it will be for their destruction like a terebinth tree or like an oak whose stump and substance remain when they are felled or have cast their leaves. The holy seed is the stump and substance.
And if there be yet a tenth in it, it also shall in turn be eaten up: as a terebinth, and as an oak, whose stock remaineth, when they are felled; so the holy seed is the stock thereof.
