A nd as he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons killed him with the sword, and they escaped into the land of Armenia or Ararat. And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.

E avvenne che, mentre egli stava adorando nel tempio del suo dio Nisrok, i suoi figli Adrammalek e Sharetser lo uccisero a colpi di spada; poi si rifugiarono nel paese di Ararat. Al suo posto regnò suo figlio Esarhaddon.
