Isaiah 36:11 ~ Isaia 36:11

T hen Eliakim and Shebna and Joah said to the Rabshakeh, We pray you, speak to your servants in the Aramaic or Syrian language, for we understand it; and do not speak to us in the language of the Jews in the hearing of the people on the wall.

Allora Eliakim, Scebna e Joah dissero a Rabshakeh: «Deh, parla ai tuoi servi in aramaico, perché noi lo comprendiamo, ma non parlarci in ebraico, in modo che oda il popolo che è sulle mura».
