T he highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceases. The enemy has broken the covenant, he has despised the cities and the witnesses, he regards no man.

Drumurile sînt pustii; nimeni nu mai umblă pe drumuri. Asur a rupt legămîntul, dispreţuieşte cetăţile, nu se uită la nimeni.
