H e who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises gain from fraud and from oppression, who shakes his hand free from the taking of bribes, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes to avoid looking upon evil.

El que anda en justicia y habla con sinceridad, El que rehúsa la ganancia injusta, Y se sacude las manos para que no retengan soborno; El que se tapa los oídos para no oír del derramamiento de sangre, Y cierra los ojos para no ver el mal.
