T o what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me ? says the Lord. I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls or of lambs or of he-goats.

Ce-Mi trebuie Mie mulţimea jertfelor voastre, zice Domnul. Sînt sătul de arderile de tot ale berbecilor, şi de grăsimea viţeilor; nu-Mi place sîngele taurilor, oilor şi ţapilor.
