T hen the Lord said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Stretch out your rod and strike the dust of the ground, that it may become biting gnats or mosquitoes throughout all the land of Egypt.

(8: 12) L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Dis à Aaron: Étends ta verge, et frappe la poussière de la terre. Elle se changera en poux, dans tout le pays d'Égypte.
