A nd he put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod to be stones of memorial or remembrance for the Israelites, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

und er heftete sie auf die Schulterstücke des Leibrocks, daß es Steine seien zum Gedächtnis der Kinder Israel, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.
