A nd they beat the gold into thin sheets and cut it into wires to work into the blue, purple, and scarlet and the fine linen, in skilled design.

فَطَرَقُوا الذَّهَبَ وَجَعَلُوهُ صَفائِحَ ثُمَّ قَطَّعُوها إلَى خُيُوطٍ لِوَضعِها فِي الأقمِشَةِ الزَّرقاءِ وَالبَنَفسَجِيَّةِ وَالحَمراءِ وَالكِتّانِ بِتَصامِيمَ ماهِرَةٍ.
