W hen you take the census of the Israelites, every man shall give a ransom for himself to the Lord when you number them, that no plague may fall upon them when you number them.

„Când vei face numărătoarea israeliţilor, fiecare va trebui să plătească Domnului, atunci când va fi numărat, un preţ de răscumpărare pentru viaţa lui, pentru ca atunci când vei face numărătoarea nici o nenorocire să nu vină peste ei.
