M ount Sinai was wrapped in smoke, for the Lord descended upon it in fire; its smoke ascended like that of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.

Or il monte Sinai era tutto fumante, perché l'Eterno era disceso su di esso nel fuoco; il suo fumo saliva come il fumo di una fornace, e tutto il monte tremava forte.
