B ehold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

Voici, je me tiendrai devant toi sur le rocher d'Horeb; tu frapperas le rocher, et il en sortira de l'eau, et le peuple boira. Et Moïse fit ainsi, aux yeux des anciens d'Israël.
