A nd I, behold, I will harden (make stubborn and strong) the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall go after them; and I will gain honor over Pharaoh and all his host, his chariots, and horsemen.

Eis que eu endurecerei o coração dos egípcios, e estes entrarão atrás deles; e glorificar-me-ei em Faraó e em todo o seu exército, nos seus carros e nos seus cavaleiros.
