F or they covered the whole land, so that the ground was darkened, and they ate every bit of vegetation of the land and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left; there remained not a green thing of the trees or the plants of the field in all the land of Egypt.

Она покрыла всю землю так, что земля почернела. Она сожрала все, что осталось после града – все, что росло в полях, и плоды на деревьях. Ни на дереве, ни на каком другом растении во всем Египте не осталось зелени.
