T he midwives answered Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women; they are vigorous and quickly delivered; their babies are born before the midwife comes to them.

收 生 婆 对 法 老 说 ： 因 为 希 伯 来 妇 人 与 埃 及 妇 人 不 同 ； 希 伯 来 妇 人 本 是 健 壮 的 （ 原 文 作 活 泼 的 ） ， 收 生 婆 还 没 有 到 ， 他 们 已 经 生 产 了 。
