T o confirm that these days of Purim should be observed at their appointed times, as Mordecai the Jew and Queen Esther had commanded, and as they had ordained for themselves and for their descendants in the matter of their fasts and their lamenting.

întărind ţinerea acestor zile Purim, la vremea hotărîtă, cum le rînduiseră Iudeul Mardoheu şi împărăteasa Estera pentru ei, şi cum şi le rînduiseră şi pentru ei înşişi şi pentru sămînţa lor, cu prilejul postului lor şi ţipetelor lor.
