T he Jews gathered together in their cities throughout all the provinces of King Ahasuerus to lay hands on such as sought their hurt; and no man could withstand them, for the fear of them had fallen upon all the peoples.

Judejtë u mblodhën në qytetet e tyre, në të gjitha krahinat e mbretit Asuero, për të shtrirë dorën kundër atyre që kërkonin t’u bënin keq; dhe askush nuk mundi t’u rezistonte atyre, sepse tmerri i Judejve i kishte zënë tërë popujt.
