Esther 7:8 ~ Ester 7:8

W hen the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the drinking of wine, Haman was falling upon the couch where Esther was. Then said the king, Will he even forcibly assault the queen in my presence, in my own palace? As the king spoke the words, covered Haman’s face.

Poi il re tornò dal giardino del palazzo nel luogo del banchetto dove era servito il vino; intanto Haman si era lasciato cadere sul divano su cui stava Ester. Allora il re esclamò: «Vuol pure far violenza alla regina, mentre io stesso sono in casa?». Non appena questa parola fu uscita dalla bocca del re, copersero la faccia di Haman.
