T hen Haman took the apparel and the horse and conducted Mordecai on horseback through the open square of the city, proclaiming before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor.

Aman prese la veste e il cavallo, fece indossare la veste a Mardocheo, gli fece percorrere a cavallo le vie della città, e gridava davanti a lui: «Così si fa all’uomo che il re vuole onorare!»
