O n that night the king could not sleep; and he ordered that the book of memorable deeds, the chronicles, be brought, and they were read before the king.

Quella notte il re non poteva prendere sonno. Allora ordinò che gli si portasse il libro dei fatti memorabili, le Cronache; e se ne fece la lettura davanti al re.
