E zra opened the book in sight of all the people, for he was standing above them; and when he opened it, all the people stood up.

Ezra a deschis cartea înaintea întregului popor, căci stătea mai sus de cît tot poporul. Şi cînd a deschis -o, tot poporul s'a sculat.
