A lso day by day, from the first day to the last, Ezra read from the Book of the Law of God. They kept the feast for seven days; the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according to the ordinance.

Dia após dia, desde o primeiro até o último dia da festa, Esdras leu o Livro da Lei de Deus. Eles celebraram a festa durante sete dias, e no oitavo dia, conforme o ritual, houve uma reunião solene.
