A nd when all the people of Israel saw how the fire came down and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed with their faces upon the pavement and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying, For He is good, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.

Tutti i figli d'Israele, quando videro il fuoco scendere e la gloria dell'Eterno posarsi sul tempio, si prostrarono con la faccia a terra sul pavimento adorarono e lodarono l'Eterno, «perché è buono, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno».
