N ow therefore, O Lord, God of Israel, keep with Your servant David my father that which You promised him, saying, There shall not fail a man in My sight to sit on the throne of Israel, provided your children are careful to walk in My law as you, David, have walked before Me.

Vậy, Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên ôi! Chúa đã hứa cùng tôi tớ Chúa là Đa-vít, cha tôi, rằng: Ví bằng con cháu ngươi cẩn thận đường lối mình, giữ theo các luật pháp ta, y như ngươi đã làm, thì trước mặt ta ngươi sẽ chẳng hề thiếu người ngồi trên ngôi Y-sơ-ra-ên; nay cầu xin Chúa hãy giữ gìn lời hứa ấy.
