I t stood upon twelve oxen, three looking north, three west, three south, three east; and the Sea rested upon them, and all their hind parts were inward.

Questo posava su dodici buoi, dei quali tre guardavano a settentrione, tre a occidente, tre a mezzogiorno e tre a oriente; il Mare stava su di essi, e le parti posteriori dei buoi erano vòlte al centro.
