T he singers, the sons of Asaph, were in their places according to the command of David, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun the king’s seer. And the gatekeepers were at every gate; they did not need to leave their service, for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.

Os músicos, descendentes de Asafe, estavam nos locais prescritos por Davi e por Asafe, Hemã e Jedutum, vidente do rei. Os porteiros que guardavam cada porta não precisaram deixar os seus postos, pois os seus colegas levitas prepararam as ofertas para eles.
