B ut he did evil in the Lord’s sight, like the abominations of the heathen whom the Lord drove out before the Israelites.

وَفَعَلَ مَنَسَّى الشَّرَّ أمامَ اللهِ. وَتَبَنَّى المُمارَساتِ البَشِعَةَ لِلشُّعُوبِ الَّتِي طَرَدَها اللهُ مِنَ الأرْضِ الَّتِي أخَذَها بَنُو إسْرائِيلَ.
