A zariah the high priest, of the house of Zadok, answered him, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the Lord’s house, we have eaten and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed His people, and what is left is this great store.

Respondeu-lhe Azarias, o sumo sacerdote, que era da casa de Zadoque, dizendo: Desde que o povo começou a trazer as ofertas para a casa do Senhor, tem havido o que comer e de que se fartar, e ainda nos tem sobejado bastante, porque o Senhor abençoou ao seu povo; e os sobejos constituem esta abastança.
