F or, behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons, our daughters, and our wives are in captivity for this.

وَلِهَذا هُزِمَ آباؤنا فِي الحُرُوبِ وَقُتِلُوا، وَأُخِذَ أولادُنا وَبَناتُنا وَزَوجاتُنا سَبايا.
