2 Chronicles 29:34 ~ ﺃﺧﺒﺎﺭ ﺍﻷﻳﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﺜﺎﻥ 29:34

B ut the priests were too few and could not skin all the burnt offerings. So until the other priests had sanctified themselves, their Levite kinsmen helped them until the work was done, for the Levites were more upright in heart than the priests in sanctifying themselves.

إلّا أنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ هُناكَ عَدَدٌ كافٍ مِنَ الكَهَنَةِ لِسَلخِ جِلدِ كُلِّ الحَيواناتِ وَتَقطيعها مِنْ أجلِ تَقدِيمِها ذَبائحَ صاعِدَةً، فَأعانَهُمْ أقرِباؤُهُمُ الَّلاوِيُّونَ إلَى أنْ اكتَمَلَ العَمَلُ وَإلَى أنْ أعَدَّ الكَهَنَةُ أنفُسَهُمْ لِلخِدمَةِ المُقَدَّسَةِ. وَكانَ الَّلاوِيُّونَ أكثَرَ إخلاصاً مِنَ الكَهَنَةِ فِي إعدادِ أنفُسِهمْ لِلخِدمَةِ.
