F or Ahaz took from the house of the Lord and out of the house of the king and from the princes and gave it as tribute to the king of Assyria, but it did not help Ahaz.

though Ahaz hath taken a portion of the house of Jehovah, and of the house of the king, and of the princes, and giveth to the king of Asshur, yet it is no help to him.
