2 Chronicles 25:4 ~ ﺃﺧﺒﺎﺭ ﺍﻷﻳﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﺜﺎﻥ 25:4

B ut he did not slay their children; he did as it is written in the Law, in the Book of Moses, where the Lord commanded, The fathers shall not die for the children, or the children die for the fathers; but every man shall die for his own sin.

غَيرَ أنَّهُ لَمْ يَقْتُلْ أبناءَ القَتَلَةِ هَؤُلاءِ بِسَبَبِ ما تَنُصُّ عَلَيهِ شَرِيعَةُ اللهِ. فَقَدْ أمَرَ اللهُ وَقالَ: «لا يَجُوزُ أنْ يُقْتَلَ الآباءُ بِسَبَبِ أمْرٍ فَعَلَهُ الأبْناءُ. وَلا يَجُوزُ أنْ يُقتَلَ الأبْناءُ بِسَبَبِ أمْرٍ فَعَلَهُ الآباءُ.»
